White Beach

Port Barton | San Vincente

We go on an adventure with our Honda XR and Kawasaki Barako. Via small trashed up roads through the tropical woods, we simply arrive at the most beautiful beach in the world. This is the beach you dream of; soft, white sand, beautiful shells, turquoise blue water, green palm trees packed with coconuts, with a lush jungle behind them.

We swim, take a nap and collect a million shells. There is a small entrance fee of P50 per person. You can see exactly where you can sit by looking at the palm trees, as the coconuts have been cut from the trees. Further on you lie at your own risk, under bunches of Bukos, potential grenades.

The sand here is white and fine, combined with somewhat coarser sand. Some grains of sand turn out to be very small shells. The beach has been raked clean, but luckily there are still a lot of shells at the edge of the surf. The most special ones are the bright green ones, which you rarely see.
