Rizal Beach

Mecaja Dive Resort

Rizal Beach, our first beach in the Philippines. With beautiful sunrises, many sweet local Filipinos and Sunny, the cheerful dog who accompanies every expedition. And our house at Mecaja Dive resort, under the palm trees, right on the sea.

Every evening the tide crashes on the beach, which is restored the next day by the locals. At high tide the sea almost reaches the houses, at low tide a sandbank is created on which the waves break. A hundred thousand little crabs make a million little balls in search of food. It is a fantastic place for kitesurfing, provided you have gear. To the north is a beautiful deserted stretch of beach where you can play around with your motorbike, and to the south is a beautiful village at the estuary where the kids cheerfully greet you.

At Mecaja life is laid back, the food is freshly prepared with the products available for that day, and the bougainvilleas shine in all the colors of the rainbow.

The sand is yellow and has a fine structure. The withered flowers of the bougainvilleas continue to shine colorfully among the sand, and the roots of the numerous palm trees find their way to water deep beneath the sand.
